Iranische Kunst. 1936.
Käch was closely associated with the Zürich School of Applied Arts; he studied there in the twenties, then returned in 1940 as a teacher of lettering and typography: a post he held for the next 27 years. In between, he was an independent graphic designer, and the body of posters he created are from that period. Here, he presents a languishing Persian in traditional dress with typically ornate textiles for an exhibit of Iranian art at the Zürich Museum of Applied Arts. Note the similarity with Stoecklin's oriental rug design, no. 53.
