[ translate ]

This heavy-duty khaki cotton canvas specialized equipment carrier features three internal vertical pockets and a larger rear compartment. The design is consistent with British Army Pattern 1937 webbing, specifically configured for the transport of specialized gear such as 2-inch mortar bombs or wireless spare parts. The Iraqi army was known to deliberately copy British military designs for their uniforms, equipment, and gear. The pack includes a top closure flap and two side flaps, each secured with steel buckles and canvas straps. The reverse side is fitted with two adjustable green-tinted webbing shoulder straps, complete with steel slide adjusters and hooks for waist belt attachment. The interior back panel bears faint, illegible white markings consisting of horizontal lines and angular characters that do not form a readable name or date (photo 3). Iraqi MOD issued this bag most likely to RPG teams. Length: approximately 17 inches measured vertically when closed Width: approximately 12 inches measured across the front pockets.
