Irene Sells, Navajo Hand Woven Textile, Butterfly

This gorgeous rug was created by Navajo artist weaver Irene Sells. The pattern is believed to be butterfly with yellow and red with tan border over off white. Measures approx 24" x 36" and retains the original label from Faulkner's Indian Country in Flagstaff, AZ. NOTE: From the collection of Daniel Cutrone, professor at Cal State Dominguez Hills, specializing in preserving the four corners of Native American Indians.
