A fine Iron Cross 2nd Class with a magnetic iron core, silver-plated setting, polished and frosted finish; manufacturer ‘113’ on the ribbon loop, for Hermann Aurich, Dresden. Obverse features a swastika and ‘1939’; reverse bears ‘1813’. Very good condition, the blackening of the core is almost complete. 43.4 x 44 mm. Weight 17.6 g. A nice original piece without a ribbon.
