An iron Buddhist ritual dagger with a gilt bronze handle in the form of a makara dating from the 18th century or earlier. The blade has incised decoration along one edge.
Dimensions are: 15 inches long X 3 1/4 inches wide, 38.1 cm X 8.3 cm. Weight: 700 grams. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is age wear with oxidation to the metal.
