Irwin Greenberg (American, 1922-2009)

"East Side St." Watercolor on paper, signed lower right, matted under glass with a French mat and gilt paper filet, in gilt wood frame, overall 16 ⅜" x 21 ¼". Two time winner of the High Winds Medal and a Dolphin Fellow of the American Watercolor Society, Greenberg has won more than 200 other prizes for his works. "Greeny", as known by his students and friends had a career spanning over forty years. he was a teacher at the Art Students League, the High School of Art and Design, and after his retirement, at the School of Visual Arts.

Condition: Very good. Hinged at top corners to the backing mat. Minor scuffs and losses to frame.
