Stamped ‘Sun and Moon’ ideogram to lower edge of shade.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Several well-integrated repairs to bamboo ribs and washi paper around the top of the shade. Moderate, uneven discoloration and creases throughout. Due to the inherent qualities of Mulberry bark paper, Akari light sculptures possess some patina, wrinkling, discoloration, creasing and minute pinholes with age and gentle handling.
