Isfahan - Iran - Shah Era - Circa 1965/70 A significant and delicate wool and silk carpet; silky, high-quality wool pile; flowers surrounded by silk on a silk ground; ivory field decorated with scrollwork, fine crenellated stems ending in ochre and rust-colored floral palmettes framing a central multilobed rosette with a mosaic of ivory and lilac flowers. Four spandrels with motifs reminiscent of the central medallion. Five borders, the main one pale pink with a design ofinterlaced fine twigs surrounded by ruby-colored floral buds and bulbs in the form of stylized rings 320 x 207 cm Stains to note (may be cleaned by a specialized stain remover; please consult the expert)
