A splendid pottery jar of fascinating form with a sloped shoulder and 4 suspension loops encircling the flared rim, all enveloped in vibrant turquoise glaze with black underpainting of foliate and linear designs. Size: 7" Diameter x 7.1" H (17.8 cm x 18 cm)

Condition Report: Light surface wear as shown with small perforation to rim and minor abrasions, but otherwise, intact and excellent with impressive preservation to underpainting and glaze and heavy encrustations to base. Nice craquelure and iridescence in areas of glaze.
