Italian Alabaster Statuette of a Seated Woman, First Quarter of 20th Century

A beautifully carved Italian school alabaster statuette of a woman, first quarter of the 20th century. The carved figure sits with her arm resting on an arm propped on the arm of her carved throne chair. She wears draping robes and the figure is without discernible maker’s marks. This item has been examined and verified by an independent Graduate Master Geologist (DCCPLS).
