Italian, late 19th century. A pair of inlaid chairs in walnut, each with shaped crest and urn splat and elaborate inlay decoration of classical figures and floral motif, over upholstered seats, all rising on front cabriole legs with stocking feet, and legs with curved stretcher support; each ht. 39.5, wd. 22, dp. 18 in.
Condition Report: Both have various degrees of missing inlay. The chair with more inlay missing has repair to the left back leg and stretcher. The other chair's empty inlay spaces have been partially filled/repainted.
