ITALIAN MARBLE SCULPTURE, VENUS AND CUPID C 1900 H 45 DIA 18 Venus is semi nude and holding a garland of flowers. Base is 18" in diameter. Height 45.5". An important large size sculpture brought from Italy by the grandparents of the Troy MI consignor (importers of Castiglione accordions) circa 1920.
Condition Report: One of cupid's wings was broken off and repaired. Two little fingers missing. Might be some restoration to flowers that are profuse. jw
