Condition Report: On beveled panel. Horizontal line of prior buckling to the panel in the upper register, which has been previously patched and retouched. A very few scattered hairline cracks visible under raking light. Minor frame abrasion and associated losses, particularly in the lower right quadrant. No examined out of frame.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Retouching to aforementioned horizontal area of buckling. Brushy retouching to extreme edges. One 1/4 inch spot of retouching in the lower center, just above the large rock. Scattered finely applied dots and dashes of retouching throughout, particularly to the sky area.
