Of oval shape with openwork rim, resting on four foliate feet; central taperstick flanked by the pounce pot and the inkwell with lion heads. Stamped with the provisional marks in use in the Papal States from the 24 May 1814 to the 7 January 1815 (Ref. Costantino Bulgari, Roma parte prima, page 31 nr. 161).
