Very well preserved Beretta MAB (Moschetto Automatico Beretta Modello) 1938A The first prototype came in 1935 and later developed to the 1938A This very reliable machine gun has been put into use for the first time by the Italian. The MAB 1938A has a special trigger system. With the front trigger, half-automatic fire could be released, while the rear trigger was intended for fully automatic fire. In order to be able to distinguish between the two even in the dark, the surface of the front trigger was puckered. Later during WW2 it was also produced for the Germans who called it the mp738. The MAB 1938 was mainly used by the Italian elite paratroopers. The blueing of the steel is still in good condition with the usual wear traces. The wood work is also in good condition with light user traces. On the butt is also the serial number mentioned as well as on the top of the rifle.
