A rare slim Italian flintlock pistol by GIOVANNI BATTA GUERINO in exellent condition. Round smooth-bore, 13 mm small cal. barrel with flattened sides in the first segment and long rear rib, signed 'GIO BATTA GUERINO'. Base with engraved trophy and rings at the breech. Engraved tang. Miquelet lock flat lockplate with small engravings, moulding and chisels. Original blue finish on some parts off the high quality flintlock. Good functioning off the lock with strong stings. Wooden half stock made from burlwood. Smooth brass mounts. Horn-tipped wooden ramrod missing a little piece of wood at the iron cartridge extractor.
