Sheet is either laid to board or on a manufactured paperboard, mat window is glued to sheet face and prevents viewing of edges; sheet is toned overall; moderate cracking to impasto areas of white gouache; small brown stain along upper left edge; small brown stain in lower right edge; 4" diagonal thin brown line in lower right corner; glue residue is visible along extreme center right edge. The present watercolor bears a Newcomb-Macklin frame.
