J. Arnold Frew 1970s 12.85ctw Multi-Colored Tourmaline, 4.5mm Pearl & Solid 14K Yellow Gold Modernist Ring - This striking ring was made by American modernist jeweler J. Arnold Frew. The ring was masterfully crafted of solid 14k yellow gold and has an abstract and organic design embellished with approximately 12.85ctw genuine multi-colored tourmalines. The ring contains pink, green and teal blue tourmalines in pear and oval cuts, in a variety of radiant hues. The tourmalines are uniquely set throughout the band, with the band appearing to flow through and wrap around the tourmalines. The ring is also decorated with 4.5mm genuine freshwater pearls resting underneath the table, and punctuated with approximately 0.40ctw VS2-SI1/G-H round cut diamond accents. The table of the ring measures 1.75" x 1" wide, and the band measures 4mm wide. The piece is signed "Frew" on the inside of the band along with the gold purity "14K". Ring size: 7. Condition: The ring is in very good condition with all of the gemstones intact and minimal signs of wear.
