J. GARNIER - Large Vase / Amphora

Large Vase/Amphore with an handle by J. Garnier. As a private collector for over thirty years of Art Nouveau and Art Deco pewter items, I was keen to have a collection in magnificent condition. Most of the time, my collectible were restored by an Artisan of Art. This one was not restored by an Artisan of Art because I considered that given its condition, it was better to keep it in its original condition. It has a beautiful clear patina and a beautiful velvet aspect. It depicts naiads carved in low reliefs. I offer on Catawiki pieces from my collection and nothing else.
