third quarter 19th century, American, each in the "Rosalie" pattern, each with a fruit- and floral-carved crest flanked by a cluster of grapes, with serpentine seat and cabriole legs.

Condition Report: **In "as found" condition. The finish is thin and they need upholstery. The rear leg of the armchair is broken out at the rear caster with a loss about 3" high and 3/4" deep. Both missing casters. Both with veneer losses on the sides at the seat rail. Minor flakes and chips to the carving.
