J. Henry & Sons percussion

J. Henry & Sons percussion muzzle loading half stock rifle in 30 caliber. The octagon barrel measures 38'' with a dark brown patina and double set triggers. The front brass blade and rear buckhorn sights are dovetailed. The forearm tip and barrel locking wedge escutcheon are brass, and the remaining hardware is iron. The stock has been repaired in the wrist. The screw holding the hammer is very imbedded, possibly indicating this was changed from a flintlock. This firearm should be used for decorative purposes only. Due to changing New York State regulations, all firearms sold, (regardless of age), must be shipped to an FFL dealer, or have a NICS check performed for on-premises pickups.
