The drawing is a draft for Lund's reception piece for The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1813, which was exhibited at Charlottenborg in 1814 as no. 2. On the underlying paper is later inscribed (n Danish): “Habor and Signe. Reception piece 1814”, which is based on a misunderstanding of the motif.

Condition Report:
The paper has turned slightly brown. Some minor foxing. The paper is a little creased. Examined in frame.
