Description: A carefully executed etching depicting an idyllic landscape, accentuated by lush groups of trees and the distanced architecture of the papal summer residence Castel Gandolfo, accompanied by figures lingering in a harmonious experience of nature. Probably a later print for the French-language edition of the "Malerisch radirte Prospekte von Italien".

Condition: Rather good condition. Liquid stain top centre. Slight foxing. Some browning along the edges. Slightly fingerstained lower right. Small brown stain and slight damage to the surface in the upper centre of the print. Small dot-shaped stains from printing(?) in the upper right of the print. The left edge of the sheet is slightly damaged due to detachment from a book binding.
