A turn of the century Austrian hall clock by Johann Salfer, Wien. 30-day time only movement with engraved Brass dial, Silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial marked "J. Salfer, Wien". Walnut case with carved Fruit Basket finial on a molded crown with a central mask bracket and foliate side brackets and molded dial door with circular glass, waist door with an inset cast Brass fan and grill with a molded glass panel, above a dovetailed drawer and lower door with carved floral swag flanked by turned fluted columns on a stepped base with turned feet.
