Condition Report:
Original canvas. The work appears in good overall condition.

There is a minor stretcher bar mark along the lower edge, only visible upon closer inspection. There is a vertical surface abrasion near the centre of the upper edge, which may be contemporary to the time of painting.

Under ultraviolet light there appear to be a couple of minor spots of retouching near the centre of the extreme of the lower edge. There also appear to be a couple of very minor retouchings in the sky above the lefthand man's head.

Held under glass in a gilt plaster frame; unexamined out of frame.
