JACK BRUSCA Signed ‘Girl With Beachball’ Silkscreen 1977, signature to lower right reads ‘Jack Brusca’, date reads ‘1977’, edition to lower left reads ‘AP 3/30’, subject a figure in a dress next to a ball, measures 32 3/8 x 31 5/8 inches, wooden frame, surface wear to frame, professionally framed and double matted in white, not examined out of frame, Jack Brusca was a painter who worked with an airbrush in acrylic paint. Brusca won critical praise when he had his first one-man show, in 1969 at the Bonino Galleria on West 57th Street, for painting that came out of Leger and the mechanistic tradition but was not enslaved to those origins.
