Notes: Jack Levy lived in Persia until the age of ten, then moved to Bombay, where he learned to speak English. At the age of fifteen a further move took him to London, where he began studying draughtsmanship at North East London Polytechnic. The influence of this training is clearly evident in his body of work.
Throughout his working life, Jack Lee developed his artistic style, exploring a variety of styles including watercolour , life drawing and a series of colourful and abstract works which he exhibited in London in the 1960s.
