JACOBITE INTEREST - A mid/late 18th century memorial ring the glazed oval panel with hair formed as intertwined initials CP, in simple scalloped setting and shank (Ring size: I/J, length of panel: 1.8cm) Footnote: Notes: The ring comes from the same family source as the proceeding lot. This ring has long been considered to be the hair of Prince Charles Edward Stuart perhaps set as a memorial to him on his death or a token from earlier in the century worn by a supporter.
