Mr. Gantt studied painting at the Dallas Art Institute in the early 1930s and at the Kansas City Art Institute later that decade, first under Ross Braught and then Thomas Hart Benton.
Measures 15.75 x 12 inches, no frame.
Provenance: The artist's family by descent.
