The transfer lithograph from 1887 is signed with Whistler's 'Butterfly' signature by hand in graphite just below the image. A second similar emblem is in the plate on the right side of the image. An unidentified collector's stamp is in the front lower left corner of the sheet behind the mat (see the images).
Sheet measures 11.75 x 6.25 with an overall frame size of 19 x 14.25 inches.
