Etching. Third state (of 3), with the address of Wyngaerde. Indiscernible coat-of-arms watermark. Trimmed on or just inside the plate mark. Lievens (1607-1674) and Rembrandt shared a studio space as aspiring artists in Leyden (1626-1631), they both served apprenticeships in Amsterdam with Pieter Lastman, and during the formative years of their careers influenced one another significantly.
