JAPANESE ARISAKA BAYONET
Japanese Arisaka straight single-fullered bayonet, steel hilt with hooked quillon, steel pommel, wood scale grips attached with rivets, 16 in. blade and 20 in. overall. The bluing to the blade is in excellent condition, and the ricasso is marked with three interlocking circles indicating manufacture at the Tokyo Arsenal up to 1936, after which production was moved to the Kokura Arsenal. Housed within a blued scabbard, also in fine condition.
