JAPANESE EXPORT MEIJI PERIOD STERLING SILVER DEMITASSE / TEASPOONS, SET OF FIVE, each having a lotus leaf-form bowl with engraved detailing, on a stem handle with tuber tip having an additional stem and leaf. Each bowl impressed to back with "S.M." maker's mark for Sadajiro of Musashiya, Yokohama, Japan, and British import marks consisting of "Ly&Co" for Liberty & Co. and four hallmarks of a lion passant for sterling fineness, an "S" date mark for 1893, an "F" for foreign, and a leopard's head city mark for London. Total weight: 2.050 ozt. Circa 1893. 4 1/2" LOA.
Condition Report: Very good to excellent overall condition with minor wear, surface scratches, one or a few nicks, and slight bending.
