JAPANESE IMARI PORCELAIN COVERED BOWLS, LOT OF FOUR, each having underglaze blue with polychrome overglaze decorations, comprising three examples having additional gilt decorations including one example with Fuki Choshun mark to cover having Hou-ou / Ho-o (Japanese Phoenix) bird designs, one example with Hizen mark to cover featuring images of trees and flowers, and one example having cartouches featuring a figure gazing at the sky, and one example featuring bold designs with cross-hatched decorations. Second half 19th or later. 3 1/2" HOA.
