JAPANESE IMARI PORCELAIN PLATES, LOT OF FIVE, each having scalloped rims with underglaze blue and bold polychrome overglaze enamel decorations, including one featuring a dragon to the interior center with hou-ou / hoo-oo (Japanese Phoenix) birds and having an unidentified underglaze blue mark to underside, one having alternating cartouches featuring cranes and pomegranates with an underglaze blue Fuki Choshun mark to underside, and one depicting a kirin to the center with insects and birds to border. Second half 19th century. 8 1/2" D.
