Japanese woodblock pillar print (“hashira-e”) by the Japanese artist Kitagawa Utamaro (ca. 1753-1806) depicting a Japanese beauty (“Bijin”) in company of a young samurai holding a fan in his hand. – With defects (dam. spot in upper right corner, sl. waterstained in upper part, partly discol., a few horizontal creases, sl. foxed/ browned), but nevertheless in an acceptable condition (not examined out of frame).
