High blade front sight with heavy block rear sight. Brass back action Matchlock mechanism. Asian hardwood stocks with numerous engraved Chrysanthemum inlays and ferules for stocking pins. CONDITION, Good-Very Good. The barrel has a dark patina and areas of pitting. The brass has obtained a mellow mustard patina. The action is not working and the brass trigger guard is missing. The stock has handling marks and impressions. There is a small piece missing on right forestock.. The loading rod is missing. The bore is dark with frosting. A nice looking early firearm. ANTIQUE
