JAPANESE USED FRENCH CHASSEPOT 1866 BAYONET
A German made bayonet, normally for French Chassepot 1866. Blade with "P.D.L" stamp and Kanji inscribed on the other side with a Chrysanthemum engraved near the hilt. Measures 27 1/2 overall with a 22 5/8 yataghan blade having wide single fullers. The blade has a mostly armory bright finish. Excellent.
