Japanese Wakizashi Sword with scabbard. Hand forged, Shobu-Zukuri style bright blade without visible temper line (Hammon). Unsigned tang with 2 drilled holes. Copper Seppa and Habaki. Decorated iron Tsuba (Maru Gata shape). Brown woven cord wrapped handle (Tsuka) with ray or shark skin, blackened & gilded decorated ornaments (Fuchi, Menuki & Kobuto-Gane). Red and black lacquered Saya. Missing the small knife (Kozuka). Blade Length: 16.1/4" Total Length: 22.3/4"
Condition Report: Very good. Sign of "amateur" polishing. Few Micro nicks on the edge. Chips on the Saya.
