J.C. Higgins Model 20

J.C. Higgins Model 20 pump shotgun in 16 gauge. The plain barrel with factory adjustable choke measures 26''. The Model 20 was built and designed by High Standard for Sears Roebuck, with High Standard proof marks. At first glance, it resembles a Winchester M12 receiver, also showing excellent quality. The pistol grip stock and forearm have cut-checkering. The stock ends in a J.C. Higgins recoil pad. The overall condition is very good, except for the barrel hold-down nut, which appears rough. This should make an excellent backup field gun in 16 gauge. No serial number. Due to changing New York State regulations, all firearms sold, (regardless of age), must be shipped to an FFL dealer, or have a NICS check performed for on-premises pickups.
