CALDWELL, A FINE ANTIQUE UNHEATED SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND BROOCH the openwork brooch in lattice design, set with a lozenge cut sapphire of approximately 3.50 carats, accented by old and old European cut diamonds, the diamonds all totalling 2.0-2.3 carats, signed JEC&Co., no assay marks, 4.0cm, 8.5g. Accompanied by a facsimile gemmolgical report stating the sapphire is of Cambodian origin with no indications of heat treatment.
