effigy Benjamin Franklin in cast terracotta, the lettering, B.Franklin American, around the perimeter, signed and dated [twice] with raised coat of arms on edge of bust; diameter: 12 cm (4 3/4 in.)

CONDITION
The medallion appears in age-appropriate condition. Scattered chips to the perimeter, the largest measuring 1.27 cm in length. A visible repair to the center edge of the medallion.

Session II: European, North and South American, and Ethnographic Art, Antiques, Jewelry, and Design, lots 500-827
