JEAN DESPRÉS | VASE
JEAN DESPRÉS
VASE
circa 1935
pewter
signed J-Després
11¼ in. (28.5 cm) high
Condition Report:
Overall in good condition. The vase displays with a superb and highly textured pewter surface when seen in person. The pewter presents with light scratches, minor tarnishing and oxidation marks throughout which are consistent with age and the natural evolution of the medium. The recessed areas present with very minor and occasional darkening to the pewter surface, which is not visually distracting.
