Condition Report:
Overall in good condition. This piece presents with a rich decorative pattern ornating its outside body, with rich crimson, dark grey and silver hues when seen in person. The lacquer surface presents with very minor signs of expected age consistent with the natural evolution of the medium. The inside of the vase, lower portion of the vase and the foot present with areas of minor and scattered losses to the lacquer finish, the largest on the base measuring approximately 1/4 inch and consistent with age and gentle use. The lower portion of the vase with one minor dimple to the surface covering an area measuring approximately 1/2 inch, which is not affecting the stability of the piece and is not visible unless closely inspected. This piece has been inspected under blacklight and shows no apparent evidence of prior restoration.
