Elegance means elimination". Although similar in scale and appearance to an oak and vellum desk that was in Frank's own apartment, (see L. Sanchez, Jean-Michel Frank, Paris, 1997, p. 194), we have been unable to trace another example of the model.This lot is offered together with a certificate of authenticity from the Comité Jean-Michel Frank, issued in 2008.
