2 x 7¼ x 4½ in. (5 x 18.4 x 11.4 cm)

Condition Report:
Overall in good condition. This wooden box presents with rich contrast in textures and color when viewed in person. The wood presents with very light surface scratches throughout and light indentations concentrated to the side edges of the box. The gilt surface on the lid with areas of minor losses to the gilding consistent with age and not visually distracting. The white paint one the sides with some very minute pinholes and minor ink stains consistent with age and use. The back of the box with a black ink mark to the bottom edge measuring approximately 4 1/2 inches and not visually distracting. The brass locking mechanism with an area of darkening to the brass measuring approximately 1/2 x 1/8 inch. An elegant box produced by Jean-Michel Frank for Guerlain.
