Condition Report:
Overall in good condition. This wastepaper basket fully covered in brown leather rests atop four shallow metallic feet protecting the surface from direct contact with the floor. The leather presents with expected signs of age but retains its elegant dark camel color overall. As pictured in the catalogue photography, the leather presents with surface scratches, scattered stains, areas of discoloration and scattered ink marks throughout consistent with age and gentle use. The corners and edges of the basket with occasional abrasions and areas of loss to the leather surface, the largest measuring approximately 3/4 inch, which are consistent with use and not visually distracting.
