Johan Hendrik Kaemmerer (The Hague, 15 december 1894 - Tegelen, 4 februari 1979) was a Dutch artist. Kaemmerer mainly painted interieurs, landscapes and still lives in the style of the Hague School (1860-1890) . But while painters of the Hague school generally made use of relatively somber colours, Kaemmerer's palette is more colourful, with a masterly balance between highlights and deep shadows.
Canvas size is 40cm x 80cm. This painting has some minor craquelures, discoloured varnish and the frame has some signs of wear and time.
