Additional details: Detailed lithograph map of New York's five boroughs. Original map from 1959. Also features a map of New York's Catskill Mountain Water Supply and a zoomed in, detailed map of Central Park. This map was designed for use in a school classroom, which would be pulled down over the chalkboard. As such, there are two wooden rods, each attached to the op and bottom of the poster which allows it to be rolled around the top rod. The poster is linen backed, and features rips, paper breaks, multiple brown stains and old mold spores that it was subjected to while in storage. The bottom wooden rod has a large chip on the right side.
