A RED-BILLED HANGING PARROT (CORYLLIS EXILIS) AND A FAWN-BREASTED BRILLIANT (PHACOLAIMA RUBINOIDES) WITH AN INSECT AND BUTTERFLY

Watercolour and gouache over traces of pencil, within partial framing lines;
signed with the artist's initials in black ink, lower right: J.B. fec:
165 by 213 mm; 6½ by 8⅜ in

Condition Report:
Hinge mounted in two places along the upper edge to a modern cream mount. There is some extremely minor foxing to small areas of the sheet, only visible upon very close inspection. Otherwise in very good condition throughout, with the media fresh and vibrant and the image strong. Sold unframed.
